Products & Candle Care
What type of wax do you use?
Our candles are hand-poured using a premium coconut soy wax blend, chosen for its clean burn, excellent scent throw, and smooth finish.
How long do your candles burn?
Burn time varies by size:
- 4 oz: approximately 30 hours
- 6 oz: approximately 50 hours
- 8 oz: approximately 70 hours
Proper candle care can extend burn time.
How should I burn my candle for the first time?
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface before extinguishing (about 2–3 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn for future use.
Do I need to trim the wick?
Yes. Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn to reduce soot and maintain a clean, steady flame.
Are your candles safe for pets and children?
Our candles are made with high-quality ingredients, but candles should always be used with care. Keep burning candles away from pets, children, drafts, and flammable objects.
Orders & Shipping
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive a confirmation email once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, Omare & Co. ships within the United States only. International shipping may be offered in the future.
What if my package is marked delivered but I didn’t receive it?
Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Tracking updates may take up to 24–48 hours to appear.
Where are your products manufactured?
Please check around your delivery area and with neighbors or building staff. If your package is still missing after 48 hours, contact support@omareandco.com and we’ll assist you.
Returns & Refunds
Do you accept returns?
Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused, unburned candles in their original packaging. Please review our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
What if my candle arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right.
Are sale items refundable?
Sale, clearance, and promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
Scent & Ingredients
How strong are your scents?
Our candles are crafted to provide a balanced scent throw—noticeable without being overpowering. Scent strength may vary depending on room size and airflow.
Do your candles contain parabens or phthalates?
We strive to use high-quality fragrance oils and materials selected for both performance and safety. Specific ingredient questions can be sent to hello@omareandco.com.
Account & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as Shopify-supported payment methods such as Shop Pay and Apple Pay (availability may vary).
Do I need an account to place an order?
No account is required to shop with us. However, creating an account allows you to track orders more easily.
